Air pollution exposure in the womb linked to worse language and motor development

Babies exposed to high amounts of air pollution in the womb show slower signs of development at 18 months than those exposed to lower levels. A King's College London study is the first to investigate pollution exposure and development in Greater London, measuring language and motor skills of infants whose mothers were pregnant in the capital.
