Being a mother affects health more than being a father, study shows

Having children marks a before and after in people's lives. It is a life event that brings significant biological, psychological and social changes. However, it does not affect the whole population equally. A study conducted by the OPIK research group published in the Journal of Family Studies shows that its impact varies greatly between men and women.
